Hello everyone. I'm all wrapped up to take my dogs to the groomer so, I'm taking a minute to catch you up on any progress that's been made toward Mimi's New Year plans. Well, I haven't gotten very far, but there is a strong schedule in place. This holiday season, thanks to you, far exceeded expectations and there was some catching up to be done.
A significant amount of time has been spent on personal health issues (more on that next time) and there any many appoints on the books for a while. I'm perfectly fine, but I'm learning about the results of so many birthdays, hehe. In the course of this I have discovered a product that I will be offering for sale. I don't make it, but it is locally handmade and I'm willing to stand behind it.
The office reorganization is nearly done and only the shipping and market preparation areas remain.
Sunday will be devoted to choosing the formulations for a couple of shampoo bars and ordering the necessary raw materials to create and test these out. Plans are for one for normal to dry and one normal to oily. I'll probably begin with bars that both shampoo and condition. There will be conditioner bars down the road.
************To close, I need to vent for a second. I generally multitask and walked away from this post to grab a bar for my shower. I have a new favorite soap and was about to make more so you could also enjoy. I love clay soaps and chose a fragrance I had just enough of to create 20 bars. Desert Sage WAS a fragrance I knew everyone would enjoy. Darn, darn, darn (too mild). This fragrance is no longer available. I usually have to "kiss a lot of frogs" to find fragrances I find acceptable and there are hundreds of vendors out there. Add this to my Sunday "to do" list. Wish me luck!
Until next time,
