Self Care Saturday and (ONLINE FLASH SALE)

Sadly, I have to report the Ginger and Spice soap, touted via Facebook, was a bust. Some fragrant oils just misbehave. There are lots of other options coming.

The image to the left is a signal that there are new fragrances available.

Click this link to check them out. Not included will be Orange Creamsicle (goat milk soap) which will be available on August 24th and Applejack available September 7th. I once had a yummy smelling Apples and Cinnamon soap. The fragrance industry eliminated some component of the frgrance and there's never been a good replacement. I've come up with the Applejack hoping to satisfy my Apples & Cinnamon customers.

Moving away from soaps, let's talk about self care and more specifically at home facials. I get professional facials once a month and recently I began taking self care Saturdays. Every third Saturday, one of my daughters is taking my place at the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market. I've been there most Saturdays for 23 years and I think it is time for me treat myself better. I have learned a lot getting facials and I've decided to create a kit for personal facials between my professional appointments.

Coming soon! Cleansing with exfoliation, a creamy clay mask that's new, a Vitamin-C treatment (with only three ingredients) that's also new, and a moisturizer. Small packaging will make this great for gifts that introduce Mimi's products and also give regular customers an opportunity to try something new. Great for girl trips, too.

There are ingredients and packaging to source so this will be a while in coming.

I'm excited to see how well the solid shampoos and conditioner are received. I'll extend the sale price on shampoo until midnight Monday, August 19th.

I usually share things about my gardens with you. It has been a tough year for that endeavor, but a couple of nice things have happened.

My Holy Grail hibiscus is blooming for the second time this season and that's never happened before.

It's been a great year for hydrangeas.

This beauty is a Blushing Bride.

The blooms start out

out white, slowly turns pink and then blue. This gorgeous purple is the fall color of the same blooms that went through those color changes.

The seasons are changing and I'll soon be feeding perennials and shrubs in preparation for another year of lovely "friends".

LAST BUT NOT LEAST LET'S CELEBRATE THIS GENTLE TURN TOWARD FALL BY STOCKING UP ON MIMI'S PRODUCTS.

Until next time,

Mimi
